So what is S.H.E.R.O.E.S?
Women in urban areas are gluttons for choice; they have ample access to courses, programs and professional networks.
Meanwhile, we live in fishbowls where our actions are over scrutinised and anyone that comes from ‘outside’ doesn’t ‘get’ what it’s like to live and work in our communities. Plus, anyone outside of our community rarely takes us seriously.

I am amazed by the incredibly powerful and awesome women I work with. If only they knew how amazing they are, and maybe, if they connected with other women going through similar challenges or obstacles, they might feel uplifted. These women don’t have to be from their own backyard but from similar backyards around Australia.
Online Workshops
These live interactive 3 hour workshops will include valuable information, workbooks, and facilitated discussions with like minded women. All sessions will be recorded for those that can’t make the live event.
Topics will include:
✓ Introduction to Leadership Styles
✓ Foundations of Negotiation
✓ Managing Difficult Behaviour
✓ Managing Conflict
✓ Managing the Performance of Your Team Part 1 & Part 2
✓ Transforming Big Ideas into Action
These sessions will be delivered in the evening for approximately 1 hour. This will be a facilitated discussion, group coaching, knowledge sharing where participants can share their key learnings and challenges as they apply the knowledge learned through the program.
Participants will have the opportunity to be personally guided through some powerful diagnostic tools for a personal blueprint of their unique style and personal brand. This information will help participants to easily develop goals and a strategic plan for the final workshop of “Turning Big Ideas Into Action."
An Extend DISC profile analysis provides you with a comprehensive understanding of your own natural behavioural styles, communication preferences, strengths, and potential areas for growth. It will also demonstrate where you are currently extending yourself and potentially extending your personal energies. This self-awareness is a crucial foundation for your leadership development, enabling you as a leader, to adapt your approach, build stronger relationships, and lead with greater confidence and effectiveness. As a qualified Extended DISC practitioner, we will interpret your personal DISC results, identify actionable strategies to align your leadership style with your goals, and help you navigate potential challenges with a customised development plan. We will enhance your ability to inspire, influence, and manage your teams effectively.
You will be guided through a reflective exercise, utilising interviewing questions designed to tap into the part of the brain that drives behaviour rather than language. We will uncover your core beliefs and values—the driving forces behind your motivation and decision-making. By exploring moments of pride, fulfillment, and challenge in your personal and professional life, we can identify your 'genius zone' and unique leadership style that sets you apart in the rural and regional workforce. This process will also highlight areas where your values may be misaligned with your actions, revealing potential distractions or stress triggers. We’ll create strategies to amplify your strengths, realign priorities, and address stressors, creating greater clarity and purpose in your leadership journey.
I will help you as a leader craft three core personal statements—Purpose, Vision, and Mission. We will use a guided reflection technique that taps into your unique experiences, values, and aspirations. Through open-ended questions, we uncover your intrinsic motivations ("Why do I lead?"), your long-term aspirations ("Where am I headed?"), and your actionable commitments ("How do I live out my purpose and achieve my vision?"). By refining these insights into concise, empowering affirmations, we create a compass for your personal leadership journey, reinforcing clarity, focus, and intentionality in your actions and decisions. These statements will act as a filter that you will run challenging decisions through, making the decision making and planning process for your professional journey, a whole lot easier.
The Korn Ferry Leadership Architect framework will be used to assess your leadership capabilities against globally recognised competency standards, providing a clear benchmark for performance improvement. This will enable you to identify your transferable skills and where your leaderships skills are comparable to the rest of the world! This process identifies your strengths, areas for growth, and behaviours critical to leadership effectiveness. Additionally, we will analyse which skills are most challenging to develop, pinpoint weaknesses that could lead to derailment, and prioritise the competencies most essential for career advancement. Using these insights, we will create a customised performance improvement plan, focusing on targeted development and actionable strategies to ensure their growth aligns with their aspirations and organisational or business needs.
This unique online portal not only allows participants to engage with other members of the community and share resources, but participants will also be kept accountable to their personal actions steps.
The personal portfolio will also house all the diagnostic reports for participants to easily interact with.
We will organise a personal meet-up with a SHEROE already active in the community to provide advice and guidance. This is simply an initial introduction, but an opportunity for SHEROE graduates to expand their connections. There is no expectation for an ongoing relationship, rather an opportunity to spend some quality time with a woman of value.
